frequently asked questions

You've got questions before committing to something this different — totally fair.

Here's the stuff couples ask most.

JUMP STRAIGHT TO...

Is a Pop-Up Wedding right for us?

Pop-Up Weddings are a great fit if you:

  • Want something beautiful but simple

  • Don’t want months of planning

  • Are comfortable with a set date, location, and ceremony time

  • Care more about the moment than the production

If you’re reading this and thinking,

“Yes. This sounds like exactly what we want,”

you’re in the right place.

They're probably not the best fit if you:

  • Want extended portrait time

  • Are hoping to photograph in multiple locations

  • Want full control over every detail of the day

  • Prefer a more open, flexible timeline

If that second list feels more like you, an elopement will likely be a better fit — and we’re happy to help you explore that option.

Not sure a Pop-Up Wedding is your thing?

Pop-Up Weddings aren’t for everyone — and that’s kind of the point.

An elopement might be the better choice if you:

-Want your own date and timeline

-Prefer something more private

-Want more flexibility with location or flow

-Are planning something just for the two of you (or a very small group)

Same care. Same beautiful aesthetic.

Just a different pace.

JUMP TO

Pop-up or elopement — which is right for us

Quick version: a Pop-Up Wedding is for you if you want simple and streamlined, a set date/location/time works fine, your guest list is small, and you'd rather be married soon than plan for a year.

An elopement is for you if you want your own date and timeline, more privacy, multiple locations, extended portraits, and a day designed entirely around the two of you. Same care, same aesthetic — different pace.

Is this a real wedding?

Yep. Licensed officiant, real vows, a signed marriage license, and you walk away actually married — just without the 12 months of planning or the second mortgage.

What about the marriage license?

You'll get your Louisiana marriage license ahead of time (it's a quick process) and I'll point you to exactly how get one. Bring it on the day, and we're set.

How do we reserve , and how does payment work?

First, fill out the contact form to verify availability. We will get back to you in 24-48 hours.

A non-refundable retainer reserves your date; the balance is due before the day. It's all spelled out in your contract — no surprises.

What if it rains?

There's always a rain plan, and if the weather looks iffy I'll tell you well ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect.

Louisiana weather doesn't scare me.

Are LGBTQ+ couples welcome?

Without question.

All couples. All genders. All orientations. All backgrounds.

No weird energy here.

Can we bring guests? Kids?

Yes to both.

Pop-ups cap at 20 guests total; elopements are flexible (most stay small). Kids are welcome as long as they're in the count and up for a short ceremony.

Where do you work?

New Orleans and the Northshore — Slidell, Covington, Mandeville — plus select Mississippi Gulf Coast dates seasonally. Travel's included within 60 miles.

Destination elopements are available worldwide - my bags are alaways packed and ready!

How far in advance should we book?

Pop-Ups are limited per date and often book quickly.

Elopements depend on season and location.

If you know you want it — don’t wait.

Pop-Up Wedding Questions

So, what exactly is a Pop-Up Wedding?

It’s a professionally styled micro-wedding where multiple couples get married on the same day in scheduled time slots.

You’re not sharing a ceremony.

You’re sharing the structure.

That means:

• A curated ceremony setup

• Real florals

• An officiant

• Music

• A tight timeline

• Beautiful portraits

Without a year of planning or a 150-person production.

Is the ceremony shared with other couples?

Nope. Each couple gets their own private ceremony time. You share the beautifully styled space and the date — never your actual moment.

How many guests can come?

Up to 20 total, including you. Small on purpose — it's what keeps the day calm and personal.

Can we customize things?

A little. You personalize your vows, what you wear, who you invite, and optional add-ons.

The setup and overall design stay consistent through the day — which is what keeps it smooth and affordable. Want control over every detail? That's an elopement.

Will it feel rushed?

Not at all. Times are spaced on purpose so you can breathe, take portraits, and actually enjoy it. The structure removes the stress — it doesn't create it.

What's included, exactly?

Everything you need for a meaningful wedding day:

A licensed officiant, a styled ceremony space, eco-conscious florals, ceremony music, professional photography, a champagne toast, and me keeping the whole day running. No vendor juggling, no spreadsheets.

How do we reserve our date?

First, fill out the contact form to verify availability. We will get back to you in 24-48 hours.

Pop-Ups:

• 50% non-refundable retainer

• Signed agreement

• Remaining balance due 7 days before

Elopements follow the same structure.

Dates are not held without a retainer.

Do we need to plan anything?

Very little.

You will be responsible for acquiring your marriage licence from the state. Once you book, we’ll walk you through the few simple decisions (ceremony wording, music choice, logistics). Everything else is handled for you.

Where are Pop-Ups hosted?

Primarily in curated locations across:

• New Orleans

• Slidell

• Covington

• Mandeville

• The Northshore

Select Mississippi Gulf Coast dates are announced seasonally.

Elopements are available across the Gulf South.

Is this cheaper than a traditional wedding?

Yes - Because you’re not funding a production.

You’re investing in:

• Professional execution

• Intentional design

• Beautiful imagery

• A calm experience

Smart doesn’t mean small.

It means efficient.

What if we want something more private or flexible?

Totally fair.

If you’d prefer your own date, your own timeline, or more customization, take a look at our elopement experiences. Same aesthetic, same care — just a different format.

How far in advance should we book?

Pop-Ups are limited per date and often book quickly.

Elopements depend on season and location.

Elopement Questions

What does an all-day elopement cost?

Collections start at $3,900 for 1/2 day, with eight-hour and multi-day options. Travel's included within 60 miles and there are no hidden fees — full breakdown's on the elopements page.

Can we really fill a whole day?

Yes — and it's the best part. A slow morning, the ceremony, a celebration, a real sit-down meal, golden hour, a last song. I design and run all of it custom to you.

Can we get married in more than one spot?

Absolutely — multi-location is kind of the point. Ceremony in one place, portraits another, dinner somewhere else. I handle transport between them, so you're never driving.

How much planning do we have to do?

I design the day for you and build the timeline. I can make vendor recommendations. You sort the permits, line up the vendors, and your travel (if applicable).

What's inlcuded?

Very little.

You will be responsible for acquiring your marriage licence from the state. Once you book, we’ll walk you through the few simple decisions (ceremony wording, music choice, logistics). Everything else is handled for you.

Will we regret not having a big wedding?

he couples who regret eloping usually had the wedding everyone else wanted. A day built around just the two of you tends to be the one you'd do again in a heartbeat.

Still have questions?

Reach out — I'm happy to talk it through and help you figure out what feels right.
